One cold morning in December, Marco was walking to work. The streets were busy and everyone was in a hurry. Suddenly, he saw something on the ground. It was a brown leather wallet.

Marco picked it up and opened it carefully. Inside, there was some money, a few cards, and a photo of a young family. There was also an identity card with a name and an address: Giulia Bianchi, Via Roma 15.

Marco did not know what to do. He was already late for work, and the address was far away. But he knew that the wallet was important to someone. He decided to do the right thing.

After work, Marco took the bus to Via Roma. He found the building and rang the bell. A young woman opened the door. When Marco showed her the wallet, she was very surprised and happy.

"Thank you so much!" she said. "I looked everywhere for it. I thought it was gone forever." She explained that the photo was of her children, and the money was for their Christmas presents.

Giulia wanted to give Marco some money to say thank you, but he refused politely. "It is not necessary," he said with a smile. "I am just happy I could help."

Marco walked home feeling good. He was tired and the evening was cold, but his heart was warm. Sometimes, he thought, doing a small kind thing can make a big difference.
